The next phase in construction begins this week. We are excited to see the progress that has been made already.

Anticipated Disruption:
- Noise and vibration disruptions may occur during construction activities.
- Playground and site access may be reduced at times to accommodate work. Specific restrictions will be noted in advance.
- A portion of the outer perimeter walkway from Building C (Infant Toddler) to Building A (3-4-year-old) will be closed for the duration of construction.
- Restroom and classroom closures will occur. Detailed sequence of closures to follow, no work will start without advanced notice.
- Construction personnel will be active in portions of the site and building. Anticipated work hours are 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.
Dates and durations noted are subject to change based on construction progress and/or unforeseen conditions. Public Works and the Contractor will endeavor to minimize disruptions due to this work as much as possible.

Exciting news! The Early Childhood Education Center will undergo construction to increase capacity and safety for our staff, students, and families. We are so excited and hope you will pardon our progress as the projects get started.

The first thing you'll notice is fencing going up around the walkway to our lobby, which will be expanded to help ease congestion during drop-off and pick-up.
The fencing you see will allow work to occur during ECEC -operating hours. During construction, families will use a temporary walkway and entrance around the side of the where the lobby is now.
