Some of our classrooms experienced flooding after last weekend’s storms. This message is to update you about the condition and expected reopening of those classrooms.
The impacted Early Head Start classrooms are Coyote and Raccoon, while Cougar and Bear classrooms were impacted in Head Start. We want to assure families that there has been no disruption to the services we provide, especially to the children in our care, because of the flooding. Temporary learning spaces have been established while the impacted classrooms are repaired.
While we await a definitive timeline to return to these classrooms, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our partners at Public Works, who have been diligent in their efforts to ensure the flooded rooms are expertly dried, cleaned, and safe for re-entry.
